Most people won’t talk about this but surgery ain’t healing. Let’s be real—bariatric surgery isn’t the solution for healing your relationship with food. No surgery can do that. I’m not here to shame anyone who’s had it done but we also can’t glamorise it as a quick fix. Some of my friends and whanau have been through it and many found themselves back where they started, or worse, dealing with new struggles. They talk about the weight creeping back, nutritional deficiencies leaving them drained and how kai just doesn’t bring the same joy it once did. I lost 40 kgs and dropped from a size 20+ to a size 10. My success didn’t come from surgery but from a combination of Goop, supplements, a calorie deficit, water, movement and—most importantly—accountability. Yes, we could all benefit from eating less takeaways, cutting down on processed kai and reducing sugary treats. But let’s not forget, we are powerful beings—we make choices and those choices shape our outcomes. If you’re ready to do the mahi and take control of your health, I can help. I’ve got the tools to support you in losing weight safely and keeping it off for good. Want to rid your body of toxins and start healing from years of harm? DM me and let’s start. 🎞️ Grocery haul “snacks” for Shar’s kids 😵‍💫🤣 #bariatricsurgery #healing #weightlossjourney #foodfreedom #mindfuleating #healthtransformation #kaibalance #naturalweightloss
