Luckily, Asian women have mastered getting skinny and staying lean (even just after having a baby) and you can learn their tricks to lose stubborn belly fat quickly without having to risk dangerous health hazards and without getting so frustrated you just give up.

The first thing I tell new students in my local weight-loss classes is that there are no shortcuts…but there ARE better maps.:)

Having the right blueprint, one that doesn’t punish you with brutal workouts or starve you with an unrealistic eating plan, is the absolute key in making the right lifestyle change that will lead to you not only being able to lose stubborn belly fat but keeping it off permanently.

And while you’re not going to learn ALL of the ways Asian women use to lose stubborn belly fat from just a single short article online, you CAN pick up some great tips that will get you started on the right track:

1. Your success will mainly come down to THIS single major factor – Blood sugar. We hear about it a lot, but we don’t get an adequate explanation as to why it’s so important for someone looking to lose fat around their waist.

Simply put, if your blood sugar levels are too high you will not lose stubborn belly fat. Even if you’re killing yourself at the gym, or eating just 800 calories in a single day. Period, end of story.

The reason why has to do with the hormone insulin, and its powerful effect in purposely storing fat cells around our mid-section instead of allowing them to be burned as energy (which is their true purpose).

To get your blood sugar levels down, and unlock true fat burning from your tummy and hips, make the focus of every meal you eat around two critical things: Lean protein and high-fibrous carbs.

Lean protein can be made up of many different foods, like skinless chicken, fish, meat, tofu, soy, cottage cheese, eggs, and others. High-fibrous carbs include things like avocados, broccoli, cabbage, eggplant, mushrooms, and even sweet potatoes.

Mix and match the two groups at every meal and you instantly create a fat-burning effect within your system that will cause you to lose stubborn belly fat by lowering insulin levels (which improves blood sugar rates) and boosting your metabolism much higher than with the same calories coming from pre-processed foods.

2. This hormone can ruin your diet if you let it run wild…but you CAN control it – In addition to blood sugar levels, there’s another dominant reason why most diets fail even when women are staying disciplined and doing the right things: Cortisol.

Cortisol is the technical name for the hormone our brain produces when we’re under periods of stress and anxiety. The more stress we face each day from our romantic partners, our kids, our parents, our boss, our health, and everything else, leads to more cortisol in our blood. The problem with excess cortisol is that it also packs on the pounds around our waist and hips, similarly to insulin. You must eliminate stress as Asian women do each day if you’re going to get the dream body you deserve.

First, I want you to set aside 20 minutes every few days (if possible) to skip your shower and take a full bath instead. Baths are automatically soothing, but we’re going to do something a little extra special to help lose stubborn belly fat by knocking cortisol out of our system.

Get three oranges, and cut them up into slices. Put them right into the bathtub. Yes that’s not a typo, splash them right into the water! The Vitamin C from the oranges will help refresh your skin and purge toxins, which are main reason we’re stressed.
